Happy 4th!

Hi everybody!  On behalf of the S&R family, we would like to wish a safe and happy Independence Day to you and yours.  But being it’s already the 5th when I’m posting this, you’re probably too drunk to read this. If so, just hit the sack and come back tomorrow. I won’t mind.

Anyway, I managed to get downtown and snap some pics of Jacksonville’s fireworks display.  This is the first year I’ve done so, as I’ve been pretty impressed with them the past couple of years.  Now I tried to squeeze into the best spot I could find, so my framing wasn’t as great as I wanted it to be.  But I was able to find some keepers amongst the 60 or so frames I captured, so I thought I’d share them with you.  Enjoy!

S&R is Finally Branded!

Well its been in the works for over a month and we have finally branded S&R with our very own logo!! A Very Big Thank you to our friend Catherine @ Catwalk Studios in Los Angeles (Catwalk Studios). Catherine helped us design our new logo which is in several forms throughout the site and blog.  Thank you again to Catherine @ Catwalk Studios and all her hard work, without it we wouldn’t have been able to Brand our Site or our Company.

Building a company is hard work

Well S&R is in its second month now and things are looking really good for us.  I have managed to establish some professional contacts that are going to be very beneficial to the success of S&R as well as expand our portfolio (Check out the external links for more info on them). So far this month I have even been able to lock down some engagement sessions for some lucky couples…I say lucky because S&R is looking to expand our portfolio so we only see it fair that if we are getting something out of it, our clients should too…Free engagement session with full release of the images. This wont last too much longer as we are in the business for a reason :) But the opportunities to meet and interact with such great couples is priceless.

Keep tuning into this blog as I will update it regularly on the status and hopeful success of S&R
