S&R Photography was very proud to be the featured Photographers for the 6th annual Cure Ball, a benefit for the American Diabetes Association. What an event! It felt as though all of Jacksonville was in attendance. A true Black Tie affair…everyone was dolled up from Head to Toe!

Rodney and I started off the night by checking out some of the decor which was designed by Unforgettable Events, This year’s cure ball was a theme of “Moroccan Nights”…Wow, what a Job they did! 

As the night progressed on we moved into the Ballroom for the main event, the Awards and Recognition for those suffering with diabetes and those working in the field to combat and cure this disease.

Now you can’t have a ballroom without music and dancing. What a blast we had, there were even moments where you could find both Rodney and I out on the dance floor showing off a bit…camera in hand of course!

In closing we would like to express how truly honored we are at S&R Photography to be able to capture such an important event and cause for everyone to be able to look back and smile and keep focus on what matters, Finding a cure.

Hey everyone…Brian here. Well this past weekend I had the opportunity to step back from being the prime photographer and tag along with a great Pro here in town, Darice Michelle (www.daricemichelle.com). Darice was kind enough to let me tag along on one of her engagement sessions to see how she does things and learn from any mistakes I may make along the way (very rare ) . Of course me being the “computer guy”…not all offerings are free…in exchange for my Guest Appearance at Darice’s session, I will be assisting her in some other matters of our chosen profession…that’s right, you guessed it…I’m still getting used and abused due to that little metal box with a screen that we bang letters and numbers onto.

Here are some shots of the lovely couple that we had our session with, Jeff and Jillian. These two were a ton of fun…very outgoing and not shy at all. As you can see from the images these two really do know how to have fun together and truly enjoy each others company.

Now I couldn’t do this post without showing Darice in action with her clients, as you can see she is very interactive with them giving up advice and laughs along the way. One of the Key items I took away from this session was watching how Darice interacted with her clients, I wont give aways the secrets I picked up on here but judging from the below images…Darice knows what she is doing.

I would like to extend a big thank you to Darice for allowing me to tag along and sharpen my skills, S&R Photography has made a great professional friendship with Darice that Rodney and I will be able to benefit from.
